A chance I almost didn’t take,
That blessing I’d have lost,
The one thing I did right today
And look at what it cost.
I paid in laughter with new friends,
Some work, that we got done.
And all the while we worked, we smiled.
We had ourselves some fun.
They say that many hands make work
An easy thing to do.
I also think that many laughs
Can help a good bit, too.
I’m glad You made me leave the house,
Get out and lend a hand.
In fact, it was such a blessing,
I bet You had it planned!
