You laid the groundwork in the past,
Too far past to conceive.
Yet I see You in every peak,
And I truly believe.
I hear Your voice in every wave
That rushes to the shore.
It fills my spirit with such peace,
That I can doubt no more.
You touched the darkness with Your light,
Calling the stars by name,
And bringing the heavens to life.
Such glory I proclaim.
You are the beginning of time,
You are all things to be.
You are both Savior and Creator.
You’re everything to me.
Proverbs 8:25-26
Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I
was brought forth, before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first
of the dust of the world.
