A Gift of Peace

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A bit of laughter and some peace.

I have all that I need,

For You have given me this night.

Lord, it’s a gift indeed.

 

I’ll rest within the soft rhythm

Of rain on a spring breeze

And cherish the stillness I find

When You give my heart ease.

 

Oh Lord, I needed this night’s rest

Though I did not, You knew

And blessed me with the precious gift

Of peace beyond my due.
