My heart sings out with joy today,

I sing praise to Your name.

Everything was as it should be,

Yet nothing was the same.

 

For I held You within my heart,

And You guarded my soul.

The world can never tear apart

What Your love has made whole.

 

Tomorrow brings a whole new chance

To spend a day with You,

And that, my Lord, is precisely

What I intend to do!
