Finding The Words

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had so many plans tonight

For what I meant to say,

The words flowed eloquently then…

But now they’ve gone away.

 

I seem to have lost my focus,

I’m not sure what to do,

Except that I want to spend time

In words of praise for You.

 

You’ve given me a life of joy,

And held me through the pain.

There’s been more rainbows in my world

Than there’s ever been rain.

 

I may not have the words I want

To say what’s on my mind,

But I can say, “I Love You, Lord”,

With those few words I find!
