Never On Hold

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The universe speaks out to Him,

He hears each word we pray.

He never puts our call on hold,

But treasures all we say.

 

Though we might be distracted in

The moment, now and then,

He listens patiently until

We’re back on track again.

 

It’s as if He has all the time

In this world and the next.

You’ll never hear Him say, “Busy!

Can you just send a text?”

 

This world gets crazy now and then,

But there’s peace in one thing,

That He will be there when I call

And He is listening.

Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.
