You know that certain co-worker

Who drives you nuts each day?

Well, they are precious to the Lord,

So love them anyway.

 

You know that sibling you adore…

When they are far away?

Well, they are precious to the Lord,

So love them anyway.

 

You know that friend who likes to talk

And seems to stay and stay?

Well, they are precious to the Lord,

So love them anyway.

 

We all have those who drive us nuts,

And we drive them nuts, too.

Yet offering each other love

Is what we’re called to do.

 

For it is by His patient love

That we get through each day,

And we should offer that same love

To all along our way.

 

So, let love be your first resort

When patience slips away,

For we’re each precious to the Lord.

Let His love be our way.
