Oh Lord, You are my rock, my shield,

The strength to which I cling.

Without You I’m bereft of hope

And I have no good thing.

 

Oh Lord, You are my path, my truth,

The light of which I sing.

Without You I’m lost in the dark

And I have no good thing.

 

Oh Lord, You are the source, the fount

Of all joy life can bring.

Without You I’m drowning in grief

And I have no good thing.

 

I call to You, oh Lord, My God,

Cover me with Your wing,

For without You I’m unredeemed

And I have no good thing.
