My Daily Bread

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You are the bread of life, Oh Lord,

And Your Word feeds my soul.

My hunger is insatiable,

A great, vacuous hole.

 

Yet, by Your word, my soul is fed

An everlasting feast,

And by that nourishment I’m freed,

From chains of sin, released.

 

Oh Lord, You are the daily bread

For which my soul still craves.

By Your Word I am satisfied,

It feeds, restores, and saves.
