Grateful and Rejoicing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh Lord, I praise You in my grief,

I praise You in my joy.

In every circumstance in life,

My praise will not be coy!

 

For joy is more than receiving

The blessings of Your grace,

It also requires gratitude

To truly find its place.

 

Whatever circumstance I face

Let me face it with praise,

That I may live closer to You

Through the span of my days.

 

Oh Lord, I thank You with full heart,

And I lift up my voice

In praise born of a grateful heart.

In Your love, I rejoice.
