Being Renewed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m happy to be through this week,

A crazy one, indeed,

That left me weary to my core

And feeling a great need

To just be still and rest a while.

For Your peace, Lord, I plead.

 

I know I do this every week,

But every week, it’s true.

I wouldn’t find restoration

And peace, if not for You!

Thank You for strength to face each week,

And then peace, to renew.

 

2 Corinthians 4:16

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
