Tears Will Pass Into Joy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She wept for all the shattered dreams

That piled around her feet.

She wept for all broken hopes,

The plans left incomplete.

 

She wept to feel a lonely heart,

Still broken from sorrow.

She wept for all the lost answers

That she would never know.

 

She wept and then she dried her tears

And counted her blessings.

She praised the Lord, who loves her still,

For all the joy He brings.

 

No life is lived without sorrow,

But joy thrives in His Light.

Weeping will pass and, once again,

We’ll praise Him with delight.

 

Psalm 30:5

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.
