Sometimes it’s alright to let go,
To stop and take a breath.
Though often hard, life should be more
Than a swift run to death.
Take time to see the dawn’s beauty,
The majesty of light,
Or watch the stars dance through the sky
Of a dark summer night.
Smell the sweet grass when it’s new mown.
The spring time daffodils,
Savor the last harvest of fall
Before the winter’s chills.
Don’t rush so swiftly through each day
That you miss the delight
God created within the void
When He called forth The Light.
Genesis 2:4
These are the generations of the heavens and the earth
when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the
heavens.
