Advent Week 1: Hope - One King, One Hope

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The world seems scattered to the winds,

One disdains another,

But we are called to remember

To bless and love each other.

 

We’re called to walk in the Spirit,

One body in the Word,

But lately bitterness and spite

Are all that I have heard.

 

I might have given up, Oh Lord,

My King eternally,

Except for the assurance of

The hope You give to me.

 

Though all the world is scattered now

The thing that helps me through

Is holding to the hope I find

Each time I turn to You!

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called
