More Than Prayers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I lift my prayers up heavenward

My hopes, my needs, my fears.

I lift them knowing when I do

That He listens and hears.

 

In truth He knows them before I

Can lift them up to Him,

But I still need to have the time

We share when I lift them.

 

Those prayers are not just wants and needs

He knows before I start,

They’re how I tell Him I am His

With all my soul and heart.
