The Uphill Climb

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today I walked a rocky road,

Uphill and up some more.

I faced the day without knowing

All that it held in store.

 

But You set me upon that path

With others at my side

Who helped me walk and helped me see

There was a brighter side.

 

I think we often overlook,

How much we count upon

Those who walk every day with us,

Who help us carry on.

 

But they were there to cheer me on,

To walk the extra mile.

The uphill climb is easier

With friends who make you smile.
