Busy and Blessed

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Today was busy and so blessed

From dawn until tonight.

With all the things that went awry,

Many more things went right.

 

When I rose up, I praised the Lord

That I had slept so well,

Then gave to Him the day ahead.

I asked to live it well.

 

I thanked Him for what was to come

And asked for a true heart,

That I might work as if for him

And do more than my part.

 

He blessed me with a bright sunrise,

He blessed me through the day,

He blessed me as I journeyed home.

He blessed me all the way.

 

Tonight I look back on the day,

Knowing some things went wrong,

But all I see is what went right,

His blessings all day long.
