Don't Quench the Spirit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It’s simple thoughts and simple words

That I offer tonight.

A praise of hope, when I’m weary,

In dark, I’ll sing of light.

Though worried, I will stand in faith,

And not be trapped in fear.

However lonely I may feel,

I won’t forget You’re near.

As old tears linger in my eyes,

I’ll focus on new joy

And lift my voice in gratitude

That no tears can destroy.

pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.
