Nothing Is Too Hard

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The world is topsy turvy, Lord,

But it’s been that before.

This time, however, I can see

What just might lie in store.

 

Nations have shattered for less cause

And, though this one is strong,

It seems as if some will not see

The right from the so wrong.

 

They find it simplest for them

To choose the easy way,

Despite knowing that compromise

Will lead them far astray.  

 

That’s why there’s darkness up ahead,

I see the coming night,

But I know that the darkest nights

Are washed away in light.

 

For He who shaped the universe

Still holds it in His hand,

And dark or light, this universe

Will answer His command.  

 

I will not fear what is to come,

Though darkness looms ahead,

For He who first called forth the Light…

He meant just what He said!

 

Jerimiah 32:17

‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
