Impossible Prayers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A prayer for those out on the road,

Or working late tonight,

A prayer for all those standing watch

Until the morning’s light,

A prayer for those who weep alone

For loved ones they have lost,

A prayer for those who chose dark paths

And now must pay the cost,

A prayer for the children of joy

And those trapped by their fears,

A prayer for loving hearts who care

Enough to dry their tears,

 

So many prayers fill up my heart,

I place them in Your care

Knowing that You will love them more

Than I could ever dare.
