The
winter seems to snuggle in
The
mist forms every night
Weaving
a bond between the dark
And
the first morning light.
It’s
in the hush of long, dark days
That
I have time to pause
And
ponder what the season brings,
Remembering
the cause.
The
sights, the sounds, the fragrances,
Blessings
in their own right,
Are
lost within the bright array
Of
a cold, starry night.
Mankind
boasts of great inventions,
Some
do inspire awe,
But
nothing we do can compare
With
God’s eternal law
Which
shaped the universe, so vast,
The
molecules so small,
And
the Grace born on Christmas day
To
save us, each and all.
