Oh Lord, I need to find Your peace

For I have none in me

And anger born of grief and fear

Is not who I should be.

 

Oh Lord, I need to find Your peace

And let go of my wrath

Or I will never find the way

Off of this darkened path.

 

Oh Lord, I need to find Your peace

And praise You through this gale

For I will not withstand its force,

But with You, I can’t fail.

 

Oh Lord, I need to find Your peace,

And let it wash through me.

Oh Lord, I feel it even now,

Your peace sets my heart free.
