Rest And Restoration

 

I turn my eyes toward heaven,
My heart sings out to You.
Though I am weary, I rejoice
For You have brought me through.
 
When I've grown weary at week’s end,
I seek to rest in You
Knowing that I will find the strength
To rise and start anew.
 
I cherish each and every task
That You’ve called me to do.
Each one a chance to serve others
And bring glory to You.
 
I turn my eyes toward heaven,
My heart sings out to You.
In You I have all that I need
To rest and to renew!

The Lord preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me. Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
