Through the Dark Watch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I thank You for this day, Oh Lord,

And for the coming night.

I will not fear through the dark watch,

For I hold to Your Light.

 

You are the truth that I have sought,

The peace that I have found,

And I will live with faith in You

Though troubles gather round.

 

Oh Lord, I lay down now to rest,

But, when I rise at dawn,

I’ll lift my voice in grateful praise,

Rejoice and carry on.
