Advent Week 2: Faith - Peace Through Faith

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I settle into the still night

And peace touches my mind

A peace such as I did not know,

And never thought to find,

Until I stepped into the faith

That leaves all fear behind.

 

It is a peace that’s born of grace

And redemption from sin.

It is a peace that only comes

From letting His love in.

It is a peace rooted in faith

That I am born again.

 

If I am justified through faith,

It is born of the grace

That lifted me up from darkness

Into His warm embrace.

He took my fear, and gave me faith

To cling to in its place.

 

Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
