I tend to be happy alone,
But there’s much to be said
For spending time with family
Or friends we love, instead.
It’s not the big events in life
But rather something small
Which touches us deeply enough
That we’ll always recall.
This time of year those small moments
Tend to come back to me.
I find myself smiling with joy
At some old memory.
I thank You for the reminder
That, though I’m fine alone,
It’s good to have a family
And friends to call my own!
Psalm 122:8
For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace
be within you.”
