Advent Week 4: Peace - Guarded By Peace

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

May that peace, born within His grace,

Wash over me tonight,

May it guard me from tears and fear

Until the morning’s light.

 

May it remind me who I am,

And who calls me His own,

That I may face the darkest night

Without feeling alone.

 

May all those fearful, worried dreams

Which dark nights can release

Find no place in a heart and mind,

That’s guarded by His peace.

 

May that peace, born within His grace,

Wash over me tonight,

And may it stay with me always,

In darkness and in light.

 

Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
