Psalm 77:16 & 19

The waters saw you, God the waters sawyou and writhed; the very depths were convulsed… Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.

Jehovah Shammah, God is there!

Through all the storms of life.

In Him we find our refuge from  

A world of pain and strife.

This world is often a grim place,

Fraught with fear and despair.

But we can face even the worst

When we know He is there.

Jehovah-Shammah, God is there!

Though oceans rise and swell

To crush the ground beneath its waves.

With Him, all will be well.

For He has called the waves to rise

And quells them with a word

He is the hope and the answer

To prayers as yet unheard.

Jehovah Shammah, God is there!

So, I will rise and go

For there is no place on this earth

That He does not yet know

And no place that He cannot see,

No voice He cannot hear.

For He is Lord of all the earth,

So, what have we to fear?

Jehovah Shammah, God is there!
