Psalm 86:11-12

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.

Lord, teach me how to walk with You,

To walk close by Your side.

Remind me that You are the strength

In which I can abide.

Remind me that You have my name

Engraved upon Your hand.

Remind me that You’ll always be

The Rock on which I stand.

Remind me I have nothing left

If I live without You.

Remind me I’ll not find elsewhere

A Love as pure and true.

Remind me that Your word formed me,

You called me by my name.

Remind me that Your boundless Grace

Is my birthright to claim.

Lord, teach me to walk close to You

Please purify my heart

That I might come to walk within

The truth that You impart.

Psalm 85:11-13

 

Psalm 85:11-13

Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.

The people of the Lord will sing,

To Him they’ll lift their praise.

For He is faithful in His love

To lead them in His ways.

He teaches them of righteousness,

And shields them with His strength,

Until they turn away from sin

To walk with Him at length.

And so, His children sing to Him

Their songs of joyous praise,

His Grace has marked the path for them

To follow all their days.

Psalm 83:1-2

How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

I’m holding my heart open, Lord,

With space only You fill.

I’ve always loved having You there.

I know I always will.

My heart’s a better place with You,

A place where grace abounds

And there is no room for despair

Where You glory resounds.

I pray that You will stay with me

Until I come to You,

Until Your glory in my heart

At last comes shining through!
