Psalm 51:10-12

 

Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

I hide myself within You, Lord,

And pray You will cleanse me.

Restore in me a willingness

To be who I should be.

Take from me this battered old heart

And give me one that’s new,

A heart that has been purified

And lives to honor You.
