Psalm
50:10-12
for
every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know
every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine. If I were
hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
We
are all His, but we’re not owned,
We
aren’t without a voice.
We
can walk with Him or alone.
For
He gives us the choice.
He
gave us laws to live life by,
But
many turned away.
He
doesn’t make them follow Him.
For
we have our own say.
He
modeled how we ought to live,
And
was willing to die
That
we might chose to follow Him.
Or
we can walk on by.
The
smallest insect in the field
Will
answer to His call,
But
we can choose to disregard,
Or
not listen at all.
The
greatest creatures of the earth
And
those washed in sea spray
Will
bow their heads when He appears.
But
we can turn away.
The
world belongs to Him in whole,
He
formed it with a word,
But
we can shrug, acting as if
We
never even heard.
He
gave us life, and redemption
And
still gives us the choice.
So,
let me leave no doubt at all…
I’ll listen to His
voice!
