Work Heartily

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Where am I going? I don’t know,

But I am headed there.

My preferred plan is stepping out

With joy and not despair.

 

Oh yes, I do have dreams and hopes,

But we know how that goes.

You plan on hard work paying off,

Then pay off never shows!

 

The best that we can do each day

Is give each day our best

Then walk forward in faith that He

Will handle all the rest.

 

We are not called to victory

Based only on our skill,

But by stepping out faithfully

And walking in His will.

 

So, work each day as if for Him,

Make His plan Your plan, too.

Then walk in faith into the day

Knowing He walks with you!
