Out On A Limb

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I thought I’d step out on a limb

And try something that’s new,

Like looking for the brighter side

Of all I’m going through.

 

The ups and downs of every day

Offer much to behold,

But I’ve found, if I’m seeking joy,

Then much joy will unfold.

 

I also know if I seek them,

I’ll find problems galore,

For this world has no shortage of

Problems that wait in store.

 

So, when I go out on a limb,

I’m careful what I seek.

But if I might catch sight of Him…

You bet I’ll take a peek.

 

Deuteronomy 4:29

But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
