Within View

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Though darkness cannot hide the light

It can obscure the view

Of those of us slightly off path,

But still looking for You.

 

We cannot always clearly see

The path that leads us through

If we don’t have a line of sight

To follow back to You.

 

Yet, even in our own darkness,

We hold to what is true

And put faith in the knowledge that

We’re still in view of You.

 

Tonight, I might be one of those

Who knows, though I can’t see,

I can count on Your better sight

To keep an eye on me.
