In Disarray

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tonight I lift my heart to You

For it is torn in two.

I cannot understand this path

That You’re leading me through.

 

I thought I had my head on straight,

My eyes turned to the Light,

But now I’m not sure if this path

Is more wrong than it’s right.

 

Tonight is not the time to think,

It’s time to stop and pray

Then sleep in faith, trusting that You

Will show me the right way.

 

Tonight I lift my heart to you.

Despite its disarray,

My heart still knows that You’ll listen,  

If I’ll just stop and pray.
