A Good Work Begun

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I need Your stillness in my soul,

Your strength to make my stand.

I need to reach up and take hold

Of Your extended hand.

I need to listen when You speak

And answer Your command

With joyful heart and willing mind,

To live as You have planned!

 

Oh, Lord, I’m not good at this yet,

I fail most every test,

But You’ve called me to be Your child

Knowing I’m not the best.

You’ve redeemed me, You’ve healed my sin,

And I am truly blessed.

I see the good work You’ve begun,

I’ll trust You for the rest.

 

Philippians 1:6

And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
