A Simple Prayer Tonight

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tonight, the thoughts pass through my head,

But not one comes to stay,

So, I am left with lots of words

And nothing much to say.

 

Let me, then, just say Thank You, Lord,

For giving me this day,

And thank You for bringing me through

All that it sent my way.

 

Thank You for all the ups and downs,

For work and, also, play.

Lord, thank You that You stayed nearby.

In Your sweet name, I pray!
