A Day of Rest

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Have I said thank you yet today?

If not, then I need to,

For You gave me healing and peace.

So, Father, God, Thank You.

 

You gave me sanctuary, Lord,

From chaos and turmoil.

For this day You gave me shelter

From travail and from toil.

 

Tomorrow I can rise up strong

And face life at my best.

I thank You, Lord, for giving me

Today’s much needed rest!

 

Exodus 33:14

And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
