Watching and Waiting

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wait each night for You, My God,

I watch in each new day.

I’m ever on the look-out, Lord,

I will not turn away.

 

I lift my voice up in Your praise,

I thank You for Your Grace,

It is a great comfort to me

To feel You in this place.

 

You are my strength, You are my peace,

You are the truth I know.

I watch for You, in faithfulness,

And pray my faith will grow.

 

I seek You, Lord, in all I do,

I watch and hope and pray.

You are both promise and answer,

The life, the word, the way.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.
