They
say the scent of lavender
Can
soothe a weary mind,
Letting
it drift into the peace
It,
otherwise, can’t find.
But
I have walked this busy world
And
scurried through each day,
It
isn’t lavender I need,
But
to be still and pray.
I
need to sit within in Your peace
And
listen til I hear
The
words of comfort and of hope
That
remind me You’re near.
It’s
not an easy thing to do,
But
I have made the choice
To
sit and just be still each day
Until
I hear Your voice.
You’re
more than lavender to me,
You
soothe my weary soul,
And
lift me from a broken world,
To
heal and make me whole.
