Tonight I rest within Your grace,

The promise of Your peace,

The truth that You will hold me close

With love that will not cease.

 

Tonight I rest, despite the world,

Its worries and its care.

I rest within the assurance

That You will hear my prayer.

 

Tonight I rest within the hand

Of heaven’s mighty king,

Tomorrow I will rise in praise,

Lift up my voice and sing!
