The Little Blessings

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lord, thank You for the little things

That truly are so large,

Those things that could have gone so wrong,

But went right at Your charge.

 

We seldom seem to notice them

The little things You do,

But in this time of turbulence

They’re what will pull us through.

 

The great, big moments, we’ll recall,

But these small things are blessed,

For, though they seem forgettable,

They undergird the rest!

 

Lord, once again I say thank You,

For all the small blessings,

And for the peace, the joy and hope

That each one of them brings!

 

Psalm 144:15

Blessed are the people to whom such blessings fall! Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord!
