There was a happy little thought
That fluttered through my mind,If I went looking for some joy
How much might I then find?
It startled me to discover
That joy was everywhere.
No matter where I stopped to look,
I found joy waiting there.
I hadn’t noticed that much joy
Til I began to look.
I wonder how I had missed it,
Was looking what it took?
I guess this proves the old adage,
You find that which you seek.
Therefore from this day onward, Lord,
I’m giving joy a peek!!
Psalm 68:3
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.
