I placed my life within His hand,
He held me so gently,Lifting me from my sinful past
Until my soul was free.
I’ve seen what life is meant to be,
Living within His hand,
And, though it took me by surprise,
This life is what He planned.
There is no way I can return
To what I used to be,
And I am grateful for the love
That won’t ask that of me.
