Here and Now

I’ve never been a patient soul,

I want things here and now!
Yet You have asked me to be still
And I must learn, somehow,
To let go of the restless thoughts,
Relax my furrowed brow,
And just be still enough to see
You are my here and now.  

Psalm 46:10
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
