You are the light that leads me on,

The hope that pulls me through.

You are my comfort when I grieve,

I’ll always lean on You.

 

You are the calm within life’s storms,

My strength through each travail.

You are the faith I thought I’d lost,

The love that does not fail.

 

When I feel crushed beneath the weight

Of what I face each day,

You are the fortress and the shield

That keeps the pain at bay.
