I want to make my home in You,

To dwell within Your Word,

Until I hold within my heart

What my ears have not heard.

 

I want to be at home with You

Until the heart of me

Can find no other place in life

Where I would rather be.

 

I want to be at home with You,

Though I’m still bound to earth,

For it is only in Your Word

That my soul knows its worth.

 

I want to be at home with You

Until, at last, I stand

Rejoicing that I’m finally

At home within Your hand.
