There is a song within my heart

That I have never sung,

A song of joyful memories

From when my life was young,

 

And of the wisdom I have gained

As my hair has turned grey.

A song that reflects the blessings

That You show me each day.

 

Let my heart learn to sing out loud

That my song may be heard,

By those who doubt the great power

Found in the Living Word.

 

The Word that loved me in the womb

And loved me in my youth,

Still loves me as I’m growing old…

And I’m the living proof!
