I want some time tonight with You.

Today has come and gone,

With little time spent being still,

And too much going on.

 

I want to sit within Your peace,

Count blessings from this day

And lift my voice in songs of praise,

Then just be still and pray.

 

Oh Lord, You are my high fortress,

Hide me beneath Your wing

And let me sit in the stillness

That knowing You can bring.
