Psalm 140:12-14

 

Psalm 140:12-14

I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. Surely the righteous will praise your name, and the upright will live in your presence 

Oh Lord, I praise Your holy name,

Rejoicing in Your Grace,

For You have led me into faith

From despair and disgrace.

You’ve shown me how to walk the world,

To care for those in need.

You teach me to follow Your path,

Though others pay no heed.

You’ve shown me the power of faith

That I might trust in You

When all the world is telling me

That’s not what I should do.

You brought me light when I was lost,

That I might learn the way

To live within the world of man,

But not be led astray.

Oh Lord, I praise Your holy name,

Rejoicing in Your Grace,

And in the knowledge that, someday,

I’ll get to see Your face.
